Back from Dubuque. Elapsed travel time (counting stops for food and gas and bathroom) 4 hours 54 minutes... which after a full day at a faire is a pretty good capper to the day. Very tired time to crash. Will try to remember to post something more coherent tomorrow.

We're heading for Dubque, IA tomorrow for the first Dubuque Renaissance Faire. It's being run as a fund raiser for the Museum of Art there. Going to be quite a drive but I think we'll have fun.
